Earth Day

UPDATE:

I went to the Earth Day Parade on Sunday, April 20, 2008, which was the first of its kind in Madison!  It was small, fabulous, and fun!  Organizers said that they are considering holding it the weekend after Earth Day next year (instead of the weekend before), so that it doesn’t conflict with school spring vacation and more people will be in town to attend!

Does anyone want to join me in rollerblading or biking in the Earth Day Parade next year?  I’d love to get a group of students and families involved in this form of alternative, people-powered energy!
